Dr. Allison Karp (Department of Ecology and Evolutionary Biology, Yale University, USA) has presented on Thursday the 24th of June 2021, 19:00 UTC on:
“Advances in interpreting polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) as a paleofire proxy”
Below is the video of her talk as part of the quasi monthly online IPN seminar series to foster knowledge exchange and promote discussion across worldwide paleofire communities on paleofire methods, new directions, and applied research spanning many spatial and temporal scales.
Next seminars are already planned (Emma Rehn will present on 15th July 2021, 19:00 UTC). Anyone interested is welcome, especially ECRs are encouraged to attend! To keep informed, please login to the IPN forum (https://discourse.paleofire.org/c/meeting-announcement/ipn-seminars/23). In the forum, you’ll also find the information on how to join the online seminar, a summary afterwards and have the opportunity to ask questions upstream to the guest and broadly to the paleofire community.
