We are happy to announce that our next Focus Group workshop will take place at Royal Holloway University of London, between 4 and 7 September 2018, hosted by the Centre for Quaternary Research, Department of Geography.
The main focus of this workshop is to foster collaboration between Quaternary Science and more applied disciplines (Biodiversity Conservation, Forest Management, Climate impacts), by bringing together palaeoecologists, human geographers, modern ecologists and stakeholders.
The workshop is co-funded by PAGES, the Quaternary Research Association (QRA), and the Chrono-Environnement laboratory (CNRS – Université Bourgogne Franche-Comté). This is the 3rd of our yearly Focus Group events which, together with our cross-cutting initiatives, tackle global challenges related to Future impacts of fire regimes on Earth, by assessing the spatial and temporal variability of fire from Past records.
Here you can find additional information on how to apply (Deadline for applications: 11 May, please by email to: daniele.colombaroli(at)rhul.ac.uk).
